14 Home Cleaning Hacks That Will Make Your Life Easier

Choosing ideal detergents and other cleaning supplies play a vital role in our daily life. Here are some great hacks that will help you when it comes to cleaning your home and utilizing items which are already available around the house.

Dish washing

We wash dishes with the infused bar or liquid dish wash right? So, here you get alternatives to it. You can also use Dry Mustard and Baking Soda to make homemade dishwashing soap! Mix baking soda and dry mustard into a 1:3 mixture. Take water in a bottle and shake it well with the powder. VOILA!! You have a natural homemade dishwasher.

Blinds

Dusting again! Yea, it’s painful to do after every 7 to 8 days with a cloth, but dust gathers there. Here’s a hack for you! Just use an old sock, vinegar, and water. Pour half glass water and one glass vinegar into a spray bottle and shake well. Spray and wipe with the old sock. Surely, you will get a good result, and it’s an easy procedure to clean it without irritating fingers.

Blender/Shaker

Do you find difficult to wash your blender or do you have a fear that maybe your fingers will get injured? If, yes then don’t worry because we have a fantastic hack for you! Now, it’s not difficult to wash it. Fill it halfway with water and put some drops of liquid soap. Give it a spin of one minute and gunk away. Enjoy this cleaning hack and keep blending!

Ring stain on wood

Do you have circular stains on side tables, wooden boards, cubical tables and at dining tables? Do you ever try to clean them? If no, then here you go with a hack for it. Use your hair dryer to remove rings of tea and water from wooden surfaces. Once warm, wipe with olive oil, and it’s clean. Yaay! Cheers to stain-free furniture!

Carpets

It’s kinda awkward when your mom points our all the hairs that are stuck on the rug. No, need to worry. Put plastic squeeze gloves or rubber gloves on your hands and start to pick up hairs. Now, your rugs won’t be hairy. Have healthy rugs!

Gas burners

Greasy burners take the beauty out of the kitchen, and it’s not accessible to clean them. Usually, we change the burners instead of washing them. Now, it will not be difficult anymore. Take plastic sealed bags and ammonia. Put the burner in a plastic bag with a ¼ cup of ammonia and keep it overnight. Wipe the burner with a sponge. You are now a cleaning queen.  Step up for the crown!

Ceiling Fans

Ceiling fans are the beauty of houses! What if, you see a mesmerizing roof with a dirty fan? Eww! Though it’s not easy to clean fans every day, we have to do it as it’s an obligation to keep the place clean where you live. It’s not difficult. Just put a pillowcase on the blade and then slide it off. The dust will collect in the case. Do each blade one at a time. Shake the pillowcase outside and then wash it as usual. Happy Cleaning!

Glitter

When it comes to kits art, glitter comes first to mind and yeah every time it gets spilled everywhere you die a little. Then you have to bear it for a whole week or more because it’s never easy to get it all cleaned up. But, here’s the easy solution for it. Take play dough and pick up your spilled glitter. Yaay! You just completed two art projects in one!

Refrigerator grills

After a month whenever we open a fridge, it needs to get cleaned. AH! It’s a hassle for us to get all things out and clean them. That’s why plastic food wrap is a blessing! Cover the grills with plastic food wrap and keep your refrigerator refreshed and welcoming for six months or more.

Odorless heat and cool

Does your AC or heater smell? Is it making your environment unpleasant? Use a taped dryer sheet to achievet a carefree odorless environment. Using room sprays and scented candles don’t completely solve the problem. This dryer sheet hack will be the best solution for it. Enjoy your pleasant surroundings!

Bathrooms

How many times have you seen the sticky particles or watermarks all over your bathroom because something was wet and left rust behind. Use this hack! Clean your bathroom with lemon and get there shine back.

Laundry

Using a detergent for washing is normal. Do you want your clothes to be brighter and cleaner? If yes, then add a little baking soda. This will help your clothes stay brighter!

Glasses

Fog, dust, climate, and stains are a significant issue for those of us who wear glasses. No need to worry, just take a paper towel, soak it in vinegar, and clean your glasses. Get your wonderful sight back!

Small pieces of glass

Never use your hands to pick up tiny pieces of glass from the floor. Just hold up a piece of bread and press it down over the area. It should pick up all parts, and your fingers and feet will remain safe from cuts. Stay safe!
