2016 Buick Enclave Review

The 2016 Buick Enclave was delivered to our doorstep on the Tuesday morning before Thanksgiving and from the moment I set eyes on it I was so impressed by its beauty.

During our test drive, we found that the 2016 Buick Enclave really does provides all the options that a family like ours needs when hitting the road; lots of space, a quiet and comfortable drive, and lots of tech options to keep us connected while enjoying a luxurious ambiance.
The built-in 4G LTE™ Wi-Fi Powered by OnStar® was one of our favorite features in this car! It made it super easy to keep the kids entertained during the 2-hour drive. It also allowed me to catch up with my social media channels while working a bit on the blog.
Below are a few other features that were a big hit with our family.
It was a great privilege to test drive the 2016 Buick Enclave and we truly enjoyed every minute of it. It proved to be a great family vehicle, very roomy and with loads of luxurious amenities. Besides the 4G LTE™ Wi-Fi Powered by OnStar® (for up to 7 devices), the BOSE speakers, and the navigation system, the dual moon-roof option was also a BIG family favorite. This car came loaded with so many features and techy goodies that I just can’t stop there.
Features I LOVE in the 2016 Buick Enclave
- Heated/Cooled Seats
- Heated Steering wheel
- Ambient Lighting – LED lights across the front instrument panel and running across the door panels to the rear of the vehicle
- Infotainment System – includes faceplate buttons, touch screen and voice recognition
- Bluetooth System – for phone pairing
- Buick IntelliLink – uses Bluetooth or USB connection to link to compatible devices and allows you to stream audio through a smartphone, iPod, etc. with hands-free voice control. Also includes Pandora Internet Radio
- Climate Controls with personalization options
- Driver Assistance System – includes Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Vision Camera, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Read Parking Assist
- Power Liftgate – you can open the trunk with the touch of a button from within the car or from the Keyless Remote
- All-Wheel Option – Great option for an SUV
- Towing Option – vehicles equipped with the Trailer Towing Package have a towing capacity of 4,500 lbs. (We could use an option like this to tug the trailer we use when we go on camping trips)
- And last but not least, THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT! The myBuick and OnStar mobile apps connect Buick Enclave owners to a variety of vehicle information and services, such as a searchable Owner Manual, real-time fuel information and Roadside Assistance. Users can also perform Remote Keyless Entry transmitter commands right from the app. This includes being able to lock and unlock doors and start the vehicle. You know I love apps!
In my opinion, the 2016 Buick Enclave makes a great mid-size SUV crossover option for families who want a lot of space and a wealth of luxurious options without paying big luxury price tags. You can learn more about it by clicking here.
Needless to say, as a family, we were sad when it was time to say goodbye to the 2016 Buick Enclave. Luckily the lease on the vehicle our family now drives is up in the next year. We now have the Buick Enclave at the top of our list of possibilities for our next family vehicle. Not only because of its luxurious ambiance and techy features but because ALL of our stuff can comfortably fit in it when we hit the road on a family road trip (which we do very often).
